2. Sectarian Diversity in Lebanon Could Be a Source of Wealth

There is a very delicate question concerning the relationship between Eastern Christians and Western civilization, and the future of this relationship amid today’s global upheaval, which is moving toward confrontation and a clash of civilizations until a single world order is established, known as globalization by extension.
• I have the right to consider Lebanon the cradle of Western civilization as a whole, because it is the birthplace of the Christian and Jewish religions.
• I have the right to consider Lebanon and its surroundings the heart of the entire ancient world, as it is the cradle of great prophets.
• I also have the right to consider Lebanese Christians as the apostles of Jesus Christ to the entire Western world.
In fact, I believe in the role of Western civilization in science, progress, order, technology, welfare, general satisfaction, rejection of fanaticism, and shining slogans such as freedom.
• I believe in the role of Western civilization in science, progress, order, and technology, due to the East’s distance from the men of revelation.
• I believe in the role of Western civilization in fighting superstition and illusory tendencies in religion, despite its excessive materialism.
• I believe in the role of Western civilization in empirical sciences and humanities, even though sometimes these are used in inhumane ways.
• I believe in the West’s role in simplifying complex intellectual concepts into visual and symbolic concepts, despite stripping them of their complex reality.
• I believe in the West’s role in removing many illusory considerations, even though it replaces them with dominance of other considerations.
• I believe in the West’s role in breaking many obstacles toward a single goal, even though it is deeply involved in excessive Machiavellianism.
• I believe in the West’s role in the revolution of communication, the web, and sweeping globalization, although we have become absorbed in forgetting priorities.
• I believe in the West’s role in the information revolution, IT, and the digital world, even though humans have become just numbers and codes.
• I believe in the West’s role in the technology revolution and weapons manufacturing, including weapons of mass destruction, although the fate of all humanity has become hostage to the finger of those who control their use.
• I believe in the West’s role in the art of luxury, entertainment, and captivating media, even though it has become a highly sophisticated art of deception.
• I believe in the role of Western civilization in imposing the culture of law, order, and systems, although it has fallen into the hands of those unwilling to apply it.
• I believe in the role of Western civilization in bringing freedom, liberation, and the art of enjoyment to its peaks, despite the fact that all civilizations have eroded and collapsed at their peaks due to prosperity and complacency.

But I ask: Is it right for us to focus on the positives of Western civilization and ignore its weaknesses?
Is it right for us to consider the Western civilization of the Renaissance or Industrial Revolution and forget the past of the West?
I ask: Should we consider the fight against religion the cause of Western scientific and developmental progress, or was it rather a fight against illusion and fantasy?
Is it correct to say that curbing religion was behind order, systems, and laws, or was it obedience of religious institutions to the dominance of a single person, whoever he might be?
Is it right to consider Western civilization as the fruit of its declared principles and ignore its hidden true principles?
I also ask: Can we say that Western civilization has reached its peak and succeeded in all its tests? Are three centuries enough to rule out the collapse, fragility, and erosion of Western civilization?

Today, the state of the globe is completely different. Westerners and those living in the West may not notice these signs, changes, and indications.
There is failure in all fields, failure in all standards, chaos in all systems, paving the way for decisive changes worldwide, and for a world entirely different even from the charming, free Western world.
Western civilization is approaching a phase of either total submission or total collapse, either a single global order or the collapse of all systems. Brothers, truly, this transitional phase is out of control…
In fact, the West has failed to create a global system due to rapid, unexpected events.
The West has failed to produce self-made, non-automated rulers because of unforeseen mutations.
The West has failed to create a unified culture due to humanity’s boredom and unpredictable tendencies.
The West has failed to establish unified standards because of power struggles.
The West has failed to promote freedom and democracy due to conflicting freedoms.
The West has failed to restrain suicidal right-wing tendencies due to the evolved theory of selfishness.
The West has failed to manufacture political legitimacy convincing to all due to the dominance of money and power over logic and reason.
The West has failed to harmonize with itself, becoming three entities: Russia, Europe, and America.
The West has failed to peacefully integrate the Yellow and Green races into global society in a calm, voluntary manner.
There are dangerous signs in the world visible only to thinkers and insightful observers; decisive indications only clear to scientists and objective minds. The genie has been released from the bottle; conflict has gone out of control. It is a fire under the ashes, with no solution other than humanity’s extinction…

The West today is three entities:
• A raging West whose religion is the creed of doubt and skepticism about everything except the power of money. It is the land of new prophets in every church, led by mafia leaders of prostitution, lusts, and the shadow economy. This is America, its affairs decided overnight by its leader Trump.
• A neutral West whose religion is institutional Christianity, trembling at the other Western religion, holding to some of its valuable principles and believing in some noble human values. Its leaders are Angela Merkel, François Hollande, and Theresa May.
• A bullying young West with Eastern roots, capable of communicating with everyone. Its religion is dominance of power, and its principles are restoration of former glories. Sharing Caucasian white origins with Europe, its strong leader is Putin.

Strangely, today all the fruits of Western civilization are in the hands of those at the pinnacle of backwardness and inhumanity, exemplified by fomenting wars, strife, mass killing, and genocide, as seen today in Palestine and Gaza.
Astonishingly, we see a religious extremist driving a luxury German car, eating an Italian meal with a little Bordeaux wine from Château de Chemain, coordinating terrorist plans through his Belgian smart phone connected to American satellites, to blow himself up among innocents with highly explosive materials enhanced by nano-technologies found only in the West. Is this the West we wanted and its peoples wanted?

Here comes Lebanon’s role with its Christians. Though few in number, they may be the primary driver and catalyst for change and reform in Western civilization throughout Europe, and in reforming the authentic Western culture in France, Germany, and Britain. They are the living conscience in Europe and the beating heart of Rome, Byzantium, and the Vatican. They are the spiritual soul of Western civilization, the knights of the heavenly religion of Christ and bearers of its hidden monotheistic secrets in their offices. They are the apostles of the authentic texts found among the Church’s treasures. They are the interlocutors of Jesus Christ after his resurrection.
Soon, Lebanon and Egypt will be the gateway to salvation for Europe, which is collapsing under genocide.
