How Can We Stop the Emigration of Christians from the East Amid Economic Collapse and Cultural Decline?

1. How Can We Stop the Emigration of Christians from the East Amid Economic Collapse and Cultural Decline?

*From the book: Characteristics of the Coming Ideal Civilization

How can we stop the emigration of Christians from the East amid the collapse of the economy and the decline of culture?

How can we prevent the emigration of our country’s citizens amid rising prices, unemployment, corruption, nepotism, economic blockades, sanctions, theft and looting of resources, stagnation, inflation, capital flight, rentier and consumer economies, bank thefts, waste, and missed opportunities?

O people of holiness, eminence, honor, grace, virtue, and statehood, and O people, nation, and citizens, do you believe that:

• Worse than hunger is the loss of the feeling of hunger.

• Worse than thirst is losing the sense of deadly thirst.

• Worse than suffocation is losing the awareness of needing fresh, clean air.

• Worse than poverty is losing the sense of striving for a dignified and respectable life.

Therefore, we must agree that the economic and living crisis stems from a cultural crisis, which in turn creates political and social crises. In truth, it is the cultural crisis that legalizes corruption, waste, theft, looting, and injustice, while promoting and glorifying them in a “modern” and “civilized” packaging.

Cultural collapse has demolished the foundations of our systems, judiciary, and institutions, through misguided populist cultures in which the media is the cornerstone.

Do you know that the emigration of Christians from their lands, their homeland, and their roots in the East is caused by an artificial cultural disparity—both within the Eastern context and with their surrounding environment? Do not be deceived by a few Muslims influenced by the West. The true issue lies in cultural disparity, and the media is the primary culprit.

Thus, we see that:

• Worse than deprivation is being deprived of the culture of reform and awareness.

• Worse than falling is the fall from human civilization into the culture of lust and base instincts.

• Worse than collapse is the descent from the heights of human values to the depths of animalistic desires.

• Worse than economic destruction is the destruction of human values.

• Worse than the loss of security is security built upon deprivation.

Why Should We Not Abandon Our Homeland?

This is our country, and we respect all that it contains. We respect the sectarian quota system, but not at the expense of the nation. We also feel that nearly all Third World countries face the same crises and problems, except for a few rare exceptions, each with its own colonial calculations.

• We respect the freedom of privatization in our country, but not at the expense of the people.

• We respect our bitter reality, fearing a worse one, but not at the expense of our hope for the future.

• We respect our leaders, believing that the happiness of the people lies in the happiness of the leader, but not when leadership becomes a tool for deceit and manipulation.

• We respect sectarian, ethnic, and national divisions, but not at the expense of humanity.

• We respect our troublemakers when only our own troublemakers can stop theirs, but not when both unite against us.

• We respect our fools when only our fools can silence theirs, but not when both sides are the ones ruling over us.

• We respect the ambition of our people to be “all heads of onions,” but not at the expense of scholars and the virtuous.

• We respect the role of media in entertainment and leisure for the public, but not when its purpose is to numb society.

• We respect talk shows that fill empty time, but not when they ignore raising awareness of moral, human, and religious principles.

They say: “Every corrupt person has someone to protect him.”

We say: “Every corrupt person is fed by a corrupt culture.”

They say: “Every corrupt and exploitative person profits.”

We say: “Every misguided culture has followers.”

They say: “Even the corrupt have positive traits.”

We say: “Only the truth will prevail in the end.”

They say: “Every corrupt leader has an expiration date.”

We say: “What if his expiration date lasts longer than the nation itself?”

Learn from the ‘Yellow Vest’ Protests in France

This European Western nation has taught us that:

• Most revolutions are not caused by economic collapse but by rising expectations among the people.

• A people may survive for ages on a mere crust of bread but die of heartbreak over a necktie.

• A people may live their lives believing in their culture but die grieving over a widow’s black veil or a servant’s uniform.

• A people may lack the most basic rights, while society is filled with contradictory associations demanding luxuries.

• Most chaos is not the result of wars but of envy, greed, and escaping reality.

• Most empires do not fall because of weak armies but because of the decay of culture and values.

Yes, culture is more important than the economy. But let us be realistic: the economy has a much stronger and more immediate impact on the general public, despite the strong beliefs held by the people of this region.

To the Media and “Luxurious” TV Dramas

Therefore, we repeat and ask:

Do you know what this empty media and these luxurious dramas are doing to our people, our nation, our state, and our institutions?

• What do these extravagant TV shows—filmed only in luxurious palaces and grand towers—do to our people?

• What do these shows—depicting families only through betrayal and immorality in the name of love and freedom—do to our people?

• What do these shows—portraying the mentally ill and morally corrupt as beautiful, elegant characters—do to our people?

• What do these shows, which fail to reflect our reality, culture, or ethics, do to our people?

• What do these shows, showcasing nothing but naked ambition and greed, do to our people?

• What does this value-free, disconnected media and entertainment do to our society?

• What does this culture, which feeds only the primal instincts of the nation, do to our people?

• What does this predatory economy—built on class differences, division, and conflict—do to our people?

Have Mercy on Your People!

We are now in dire need of calming hearts that are agitated over values and turned against their own interests.

Yet, we chase fame even through filth, we pursue politics even through trash, we seek entertainment even through immorality, and we crave social media even through sedition.

All of these factors drive citizens—Christians before Muslims—into emigration, led by the narratives shaped by the media.

Let us learn from the lives of European-born extremists, who often became more brutal than local extremists.

The Solution?

We are now in urgent need of calming hearts and bridging class divisions through guided culture, purposeful media, and value-driven platforms.

Here lies the role of religious scholars, spiritual leaders, and heads of sects in restoring harmony.

Therefore, whoever wishes to rule the world and present a sustainable, ideal civilization must have real and logical solutions to the key factors of collapse in democratic and just systems, namely:

• In culture:

1. Democratic decline and unworthy succession.

2. Democratic falsification and the deep state.

• In the economy:

1. Colonialism and hidden hegemony.

2. The shadow economy and organized crime economy.
